I remember in 2014, when I decided to start an Instagram photography account, I felt immediately discouraged. I saw other photographers who had thousands of followers already and wondered to myself, “is this really worth the time and effort?” Well, it turns out that the answer was YES. Instagram became one of my main sources for new bookings and referrals, and it continues to be a successful tool for HBP today! As I reflect back on what, exactly, I did to build a following and client base from Instagram, there were a few key elements that were essential to my success. I’m sharing them today!
